Shaker Loops / Light Over Water: Music of John Adams (New Albion NA014 – 1983)

John Adams’ Light Over Water was commissioned for Available Light, a multimedia project at the opening of the “Temporary Contemporary” (LA MOCA) with dance by Lucinda Childs and set by Frank Gehry. Transparent Recordings’ Lolly Lewis produced the audio installation for these live performances.
